Powering Communities: Engagement and Partnerships

Building the workforce of the future is of vital importance to the renewable energy industry, and we will not be able to get there without engaging with our partners. In this session, community colleges will be presented as a vital partner for any renewable energy operator, with examples of how you can best get involved with your local college for community engagement and employee recruiting, followed by a presentation from the Canadian Renewable Energy Association showing how community colleges can fit into the broader framework of workforce development that our industry needs at every scale (local, national, and international).
