Scott has been in the Wind industry for 10+ years, taking on progressive Safety Management roles. He leverages his field and safety management experience to lead the Wind Energy safety team as the Director of Safety. He serves as a safety resource to the leadership team and assists project management teams in planning and implementing operating group wide safety programs and initiatives. Scott is responsible for the administration of Mortenson's safety program “Zero Injury Manual”. He also identifies and manages hazards and trains our safety team to onboard team members, helping them stay safe and return home the same way they came to work at the project site every day.

Scott has most recently served as the Chair of the ACP Safety Campaign in 2022.
