Katrina Ridley is responsible for hydrogen sector research, opportunity origination, project valuation, and development of green hydrogen projects for the Strategic Development Initiatives team at EDF Renewables.
She joined EDFR in 2019 as a Rotational Program Associate where she supported multiple teams including Asset Management, Project Valuation, and Strategy & Finance. Most recently Katrina worked as a Finance Manager for PowerFlex, EDFR's behind-the-meter division, where she led deals with equity investors for projects across the USA and Canada.
Prior to joining EDFR, Katrina worked as a Well Engineer for Shell. During her 8-year tenure, she designed natural gas wells around the world and worked to support real-time operations in the field. She has also had the opportunity to spearhead business improvement efforts and managed projects ranging from $2MM to $7B for onshore and offshore-based operations.
Katrina has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Houston and an MBA from London Business School.
