Dr. Robin Berthier, PhD (he/him/his)

Robin Berthier is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Network Perception: Dr. Berthier has over 15 years experience in the design and development of network security monitoring technologies. He received his PhD in the field of cybersecurity from the University Of Maryland College Park under the direction of Prof. Michel Cukier. Dr. Berthier was a research scientist at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign where his projects included the design and development of a specification-based intrusion detection sensor for smart meters and a firewall configuration analysis solution to help energy utilities verifying their compliance with NERC CIP standards. This technology is now driving the Network Perception software that he and his team have been developing over the past few years to support the needs of the electric sector.
