Sandra Laird is the Vice President of Field Services at RRC Companies. She has over 30 years of quality management experience across a variety of industries, including solar, utility power, automotive, and telecom sectors. Throughout her career, Sandra has successfully implemented continuous improvement initiatives and leveraged lean manufacturing and quality operational practices to drive outstanding results. She has been personally responsible for the quality management of over 7.5 GW of utility-scale solar power installations and successfully managed 27 concurrent solar projects. Sandra has also been instrumental in securing the first large-scale solar site certification.
Sandra earned her HBA in Psychology from the University of Windsor and a postgraduate degree in Science and Business Management from Pace University. She has trained in Six Sigma concepts and has additional formal training in Quality Operating Systems, Advanced Product Quality Process, and Auditing.
A versatile leader, Sandra has excelled in various roles, including manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality management. She has implemented factory acceptance testing checkpoints for power transformers and developed supplier quality requirements to ensure vendor compliance. Sandra has been with RRC Companies since 2021.
