Michael Blumenfeld is currently a Principal Scientist for Industrial Lubricants at ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company. He holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Arizona and is an experimentalist at heart. He has spent the last 13 years with Exxon Mobil developing chemical solutions for mechanical systems to make them more productive. His lubricant designs have operated in machines that range from race cars to wind turbines.
