Brent A. Wise

Brent A. Wise, a 37-year veteran of the Dallas Fire/Rescue Department, is a co-founder of Tech Safety Lines, Inc. Brent is an active officer for the City of Dallas and has been involved in the development and implementation of Dallas' first state USAR team, Texas Task Force II. During Brent's tenure with Dallas, he served as the department's Special Operations Training Officer, Incident Safety Officer, and Search Team Leader. Currently, he holds the position of Captain in Dallas’ USAR team.

When Brent is not busy serving as a firefighter, father, and grandfather, he assists companies in developing fall protection and rescue plans. Brent relies on expertise gained from many years of emergency response and professional rescue work to develop plans specifically suited for TSL's clients.

Brent has played a key role in developing the Rescue Kits, Rescue Training, and much of the Fall Protection gear that Tech Safety Lines manufactures. His knowledge of mountain climbing and experience as a technical rescue professional are making a significant impact in the industrial world. Brent designed the StepWise® Fall Arrest Lanyard with a webbed ladder, known as an etrier. In the event of a fall, this webbed lanyard offers the worker a foothold that directly addresses the effects of suspension trauma.
