David is a behavioral health clinician and industry expert, with more than 40 years of experience implementing well-being products and services. During his more than 30 years with ComPsych, David has held two executive positions— Senior Vice President of Quality Management and Director of Network/Claims and Customer Service. In these roles, he has supported the development of ComPsych’s industry-leading provider network and monitored performance, satisfaction and improvement of ComPsych services. He also works strategically with employers to integrate behavioral health benefits, disability carriers, wellness and other programs to increase performance and reduce claims costs.
As a clinician, David has counseled and provided therapy to individuals and groups, with an emphasis on chemical dependency. He holds a Master of Social Work from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.
David has presented at various conferences on the role of the Employee Assistance Programs have within the workplace, including such areas of short-term disability, reducing stress in the workplace and improving overall well-being. David has written the following published articles:
